Frequently Asked
Straight answers to fair questions
Who is eligible for housing?
Veterans — every branch and every era, including Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, Space Force, National Guard, and Reserve. We screen every applicant; email us and we’ll explain what that involves.
Do I need a referral, or can I contact you myself?
Either works. Reach out directly, or have a caseworker, family member, or friend do it for you.
What does it cost?
Residents pay for their housing. We discuss the number directly rather than publish one, because it depends on the room and the arrangement — ask and we’ll be straight with you.
What do I need to bring?
Yourself and your belongings — that’s it. No furniture to buy, no utility account to open.
How long can I stay?
As long as you keep to the agreement. We offer permanent, transitional, and short-term stays, and no end date is set at move-in.
How quickly can I move in?
It depends on availability and how the screening goes. Contact us and we’ll tell you honestly where things stand rather than leave you guessing.
Where exactly are the homes?
Escambia County, Florida — the first in Pensacola. We keep addresses off the website to protect residents and share them directly instead.
Is there support on site?
Yes. Support staff are on the property rather than in a call center in another state.
